Amazing We had an ocean facing end unit (220) and it was great. Amazing views of the ocean and Molokai, you could hear the ocean, nice cross-breeze, comfy balcony for happy hour. Loved the location - Napili bay is beutiful with great snorkeling and sea turtles. A huge upgrade from Kehei where we've stayed in the past. The staff were great. Should out to Pauline, who was responsive and friendly.

Napili Surf Felt Like A Home Away From Home We arrived in Maui just after the first Kona Low storm and really weren’t sure what to expect - arriving at Napili Surf (room 227 in Paumala Bldg) assured us that our 10 nights would be GREAT regardless of weather. The text/email communications with check-in process and throughout the stay was warm, welcoming, and really provided everything we needed. Our room was on 2nd floor in the furthest back building from the beach with a balcony patio that overlooked one of the two pools and gardens. Though on our next stay I would most likely pay higher rate to have Oceanview room, our room was still GREAT!!! Clean, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, comfy bed with lots of pillows, ceiling fans and a/c unit, beach chairs, honestly was everything we needed. The path to the beachfront was easily accessible and we walked out to see the surf, whales, turtles, sunset several times a day. Also, we walked to several great restaurants in the area and also walked to the Kapalua Coastal Trailhead and along the trail 6 or 7 times during our stay. Great, great location!

We love Napili Surf We loved our stay! The location, services, and quiet nature of the place suit us perfectly. The service is outstanding, the view spectacular. The decor, cleanliness and location of our room near the ocean were awesome! We love Napili, don't crave the nightlife of Kanapali and love the vibe along this beautiful bay.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable (I think every hotel along Napili seems fabulous). The kitchen is very generously sized, the space was clean and comfortable, and we made good use of the beach chairs and our lanai. I didn’t get to choose my floor at booking so we lucked out with 2nd floor so were able to sleep with the sliders open. Would definitely recommend to others!

Napili Surf is great - my vacation, not so much.... Napili Surf Resort is a cute place with great beach access and a wonderful responsive staff. Our accommodations were comfortable and our view was great. I do recommend it over some of the other places on that side of Napili beach because of the beach access. Others require walking over a rocky trail to get to the beach or down the street (We had family staying a few resorts away and walked the rocky path several times). We had a few items that were broken when we arrived (a toaster and a blow dryer) but the staff was extremely responsive to our need. Something I really appreciated, was the text communication between us and the staff. It is evident that they care very much about their guests. Unfortunately, and really no fault of Napili Surf, we had a less than wonderful experience because of a terrible winter storm that hit the islands resulting in huge winds (50-80mph gusts), several power outages (one that was over 24hours in length impacting ALL of Western Maui), rain every day, flooding, trees down and debris everywhere. The Governor even invoked a state of emergency. It was bad. We were unable to enjoy any of the plans or reservations we had made. Restaurants were closed, grocery stores were closed, roads were not safe to drive with flooding and trees and debris everywhere. It was not safe to go into the ocean to swim. The storm lasted the entirety of our stay, which was frustrating, but the staff were very connected to us via text messages letting us know the status of the storm, power outages and safety concerns. Thank goodness for the gas grills at Napili Surf! We were able to boil water, and grill bacon and toast for breakfasts. We made do with inside picnics from groceries we had, thankfully, picked up on our arrival in Maui. We know that the storm was not something anyone could control. It was just extremely disappointing and made for a very different vacation for sure. But I guess the upside is we have a very unique memory now. Just not what we anticipated. I did very much enjoy the view from our lanai of Napili Beach, and I suggest getting an ocean facing room - the view was beautiful, despite the storm. We had a lot of time to enjoy that view. Bottom line, I think Napili Surf is a nice place for both couples and families and I do recommend it. Will I go back? Well, time will tell. Currently feeling pretty gun shy about Maui.

We Keep Coming Back! We appreciate the smaller condo complex, which is in an ideal and beautiful location. Oceanfront yoga, weekly breakfast, and music night keep us coming back.

Just like the Bob Seger Song, "you're still the same" In 15 years of stays (every other year), we still feel the same as the first time. If you are looking for Corporate America, LOOK ELSEWHERE ! You will not find it here. This is a small WONDERFUL resort that just gives that "you are home" feeling. We continue to stay here, because it continues to excel at making you feel like you are at home. We would not and will not look at any other lodging because NAPILI SURF offers value, from the Hula lessons, the yoga instruction, to the Friday Breakfast. This place has the "IT" in the location you want to stay at.
